A Comprehensive Review of GoDaddy Deluxe Plan Web Hosting of WordPress – Story of TechSap.in

It was my dream to have a blog where I can share my thoughts. I was planning to create one for a long time but due to my schedule or somewhat lackadaisical approach or being causal at times, I was pushing this again and again into the future to-do list. But a sudden drive and determination helped me in formulating this and now the day arrived and I made it. I do not know how much I will be successful but yes, this is a dream come true and now I have stepped into the world of blogging.

This is my first review and it is completely based on my experience on Godaddy Hosting Plans.

When I was thinking to make a website; I researched which site is good to buy the domain and hosting? And then I came to the conclusion that I will go with Godaddy deluxe plan.

I have checked WordPress solutions on Godaddy’s official website and I have chosen Godaddy Hosting plans which have the following features:

Features of WordPress Godaddy Hosting Plan/Deluxe Plan:

  • 1 website
  • 75 GB storage space
  • Ideal for up to 100K monthly visitors
  • Free business email for one year
  • Website backup protection with 1-click restore
  • Free domain
  • Automatic daily malware scans
  • SEO optimizer
  • 1-click testing site

There is no doubt that Godaddy provides good hosting plans for the most popular Content management system called WordPress. I have chosen WordPress Godaddy Deluxe Plan which includes Godaddy hosting plan; because it provides an easy theme-based design that can be customized according to the need.

GoDaddy provides multiple hosting plans as well. You can pick one as per your requirement. It’s features were described clearly and I did not find a better clarity in other hosting websites.

Here’s what you get with each GoDaddy Hosting Plan:

  • Basic (99 per month): 1 website, 30 GB of storage, and up to 25K monthly visitors.
  • Deluxe (229 per month): 1 website, 75 GB of storage, and up to 100K monthly visitors.
  • Ultimate (449 per month): 1 website, unlimited storage, and visitors, and a free SSL certificate.
  • E-commerce (1,139 per month): 1 website, unlimited storage, and visitors, and a free SSL certificate.

I have purchased the Godaddy Deluxe plan as they provide this as a facility upgrade plan for more features. I have got the domain for free with 12 months WordPress Godaddy hosting plan.

GoDaddy dashboard experience:

This was my first experience but luckily everything was so managed and easily available in the dashboard.

Customer Support Of Godaddy:

They offer customer support 24/7. They have a knowledge base, phone support, and live chat. While I was setting up my website, I faced some difficulties with its features. I approached their chat team for resolving my query. The chat executive did solve my queries and also had given some WordPress useful links for my reference.

Performance of Godaddy Hosting Plans:

Performance is a valid consideration when we choose the hosting plans. Here are my findings:

Load-balanced, clustered server environments – GoDaddy’s servers are optimized for WordPress. Additionally, they’re prepared to handle traffic spikes that might otherwise crash your site.

CDN Integration – All the GoDaddy’s WordPress plans including Deluxe plan provides out-of-the-box CDN integration to increased site speed.

Uptime Guarantee – GoDaddy provides 99.9% uptime guarantee. It is very important factor because if your site is down, readers will not be able to find you or access your website.

GoDaddy Deluxe Plan

Pros and Cons of GoDaddy’s Hosting Plans – Deluxe Plans:

Pros:

  1. Affordable price
  2. 24/7 customer support
  3. Many free plugins
  4. Free Themes
  5. WordPress Tutorials etc.

Cons:

  1. Add random add-on in cart while purchasing. I did not get the email package plan due to some confusion. Really it was so confusing and was very much disappointed, that i did not get the one year email package.
  2. Only one website can be hosted with this deluxe plan.
  3. Confusing Money Back Guarantee – If you buy for a “Monthly Plan” (anything less than yearly plan — three, six, or nine months), you have to ask for a refund within 48 hours. That gives you only two days to try them out.

Conclusion – GoDaddy has strong uptime and fast webpage loading speeds. And the overall performance of Godaddy’s hosting is good. I recommend if you are a beginner then go with the lowest plan (i.e. GoDaddy deluxe plan) Go and learn the things. Once you will familiarise yourself with the platform then you can upgrade it with more features.
